Information about Past Conferences:
The MANSA convenes an International Conference on Mande Studies on a regular basis. Yet the very first International Conference on Manding Studies was convened in at SOAS, London, in 1972. From 1993 onwards, MANSA hosts International Conferences on Mande Studies. In June 2024, the Twelfth International Conference on Mande Studies will take place at the Institut des Sciences Humaines in Bamako (Mali). Access the conference site here
